Japanese 2x1 selvedge raw denim. This fabric has been sanforized to reduce shrinkage when washed. Slim fit with a slight taper at the knee. Five pocket design featuring a low rise in the front and a higher rise in the back. Button fly closure. Selvedge detailing at the coin pocket and hem. Chain-stitched hem for vintage roping effects with wear. Tonal stitching. Made in Los Angeles.

The Cast 1 denim debuted in 2013 alongside our first collection. The fit is slightly looser through the leg than our Cast 2 fit, to account for a tighter denim weave. Inspired by vintage Americana denim, this silhouette marks the return of made in Los Angeles denim to our offering. Due to the nature of sanforized raw denim, this style will break-in and stretch up to 1" in the waist and .5" in the thigh after ~30 wears.
